The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 9 ends the week with Lauren putting an end to Sally and Summer’s feud, Ashland putting an end to his Jabot deal, and Chelsea scheming to put an end to Adam and Sharon, while Rey attempts to put an end to Sharon’s lies.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) asked Sally (Courtney Hope) what she had on Summer (Hunter King). Lauren asked Summer what she had on Sally. Then she told them both to cut it out.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) yelled at Lauren for daring to suggest that what Sally and Summer did was equally bad. Summer is clearly the innocent victim here, and Summer’s the angel! Does Lauren not remember what she was like at Summer’s age? Obviously, she should be on Summer’s side! Summer, however, blames Phyllis.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) thinks Phyllis has gone too far. Phyllis points out that he’s still protecting Faith. Nick notes that Faith is a child. Summer is an adult.

Business Matters
Kyle (Michael Mealor) tells Jack that Ashland no longer wants to do business with Jabot. Jack says, great, the guy is out of their lives. But Kyle is convinced this is about him, and he won’t rest until he makes another stupid move that worsens the situation!
While they’re discussing stupid moves, Jack wants to discuss Kyle’s stupid move in joining Summer in blackmailing Sally. Sally told him her side of the story, and he’s fed up with all three of them. So he calls Ashland.
Secret Lives
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) knows that Sharon (Sharon Case) is lying to him about having seen Adam (Mark Grossman). Sharon denies. But then she breaks and tells Rey that Adam pointed the finger at Chelsea.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) knows that Adam and Sharon are planning to run off together. When Nick tells her that Adam saved Faith, Chelsea regains the power of speech! “Sharon knows….” The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
