The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, is still the night of Kyle and Summer’s engagement party, only they’re busy discussing his desire to claim his son. Plus, now that Rey’s home, Faith can start using him again, and Amanda cross-examines Imani.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) told Kyle (Michael Mealor) that Ashland is suing her for divorce because he knows about her affair – and he wants custody of Harrison, too. Tara merely asked Kyle to hide her and her son away from Ashland. But Kyle had a better idea! He will claim paternity of Harrison! That will surely calm Ashland down and make him back off! Summer (Hunter King) is not on board.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has to leave the engagement party but makes Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) promise she will let him know what happens between their daughter and the bum she thinks she’s in love with. The lovebirds return and Jack (Peter Bergman) wants to know what’s going on. Everything is cool, Kyle lies. Phyllis doesn’t lie to Nick. She just distracts him with sex. And then Ashland (Richard Burgi) comes to see Kyle.
Relationships Rock
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is back home and Sharon (Sharon Case) swears they’ll have no more problems moving forward. Faith (Reylynn Caster) takes advantage of the detente to get Rey to convince Sharon to let her hang out with Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) – over Nick’s disapproving head. Moses is on his way over! And he assures Devon (Bryton James) he knows what he’s doing.
Murder, Inc.
Amanda (Karla Mosley) pumps Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) for insight about her newfound family, including whether or not she thinks Sutton is capable of murder. He is, Imani says.
Amanda is surprised by the response but welcomes Imani to their defense team. Later, she tells Devon she thinks her sister has an agenda – and Amanda is going to figure out what it is! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
