The Young and the Restless Recap: Jack Spills the Beans To the Wrong Person

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, June 7, 2021, finds Billy hammering Jack about his antipathy with Ashland as Summer tries to distract Kyle from his son, and Ashland is distracted by Billy’s ex-wife.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Billy (Jason Thompson) overhears Jack (Peter Bergman) arguing with Ashland (Richard Burgi) and, later, when he and Lily (Christel Khalil) have Jack over for a small housewarming, pumps his brother for details about why Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) and Harrison are hanging out at the Abbott mansion.

Jack tries to change the subject, and Lily tries to help, but Billy won’t drop it. Jack, the man who has stood up to Victor (Eric Braeden) and a host of other business rivals, slips and reveals that Harrison is his grandson, Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) son. He orders Billy not to do anything with the information. Billy won’t promise that. Jack storms out. Lily tries to make Billy promise. He says, yeah, sure, of course.

Playing Daddy

While Summer (Hunter King) strips and orders champagne to be sent up to their suite, Kyle is reading Harrison a story… while Tara hovers lovingly in the background (still in a white ballgown that she wears not only to the park but for hanging around the house).

When Kyle finally makes it to Summer’s, she reiterates that she still wants to marry him, and demands that Kyle say the same. He does. Sex now! After sex, Summer reads a completely innocent text from Tara to Kyle and decides to look stressed again.

Friendly Fire

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland share a drink. She raves about her kids, and he admits that while he loves Harrison, he’s not his biological father. Victoria guesses that it’s Kyle. Ashland vows not to give up on Harrison. He’s scheduling his own DNA test, but no matter what the result, he won’t walk away from his son.

And he’s not thrilled by the idea of sharing him with Kyle. Victoria remembers that Johnny isn’t her biological son, which is nice. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
