The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 3, 2020, features some troubled Abbotts, as Jack proposes to an unenthused Phyllis, Traci uses her daughter to hold onto her man, Paul is hesitant to move on, and Cassie’s loose lips prepare to sink ships. The episode originally aired on September 10, 2001.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Jack (Peter Bergman) publicly proposes to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Who publicly goes running off. Jack wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Phyllis is reluctant. She knows he wants kids, and she can’t give him that. (Summer is still ahead of us.) Jack doesn’t care. Phyllis does. Stalemate. But she finally says yes.
Children Will Listen
Traci (Beth Maitland) keeps pointing out to Brad (Don Diamont) how happy their Colleen (Lyndsy Fonseca) is as a way to keep him from the Abbott sister Brad currently loves, Ashley (Eileen Davidson). When John (Jerry Douglas) chastises Traci for her actions, Traci tries playing the happy Colleen card again. But John has always put Ashley ahead of all others. He stays the course, here. Traci swallows another resentment.
It Takes Two
Paul (Doug Davidson) questions Victor (Eric Braeden) about Christine (Lauralee Bell) as Isabella (Eva Longoria) tells Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) she intends to take her relationship with Paul to the next level – no matter what Lauren (Tracey Bregman) thinks about it. Michael is still kind of bad here, so Lauren still kind of dislikes him. And his friends.
Putting It Together
Mac’s mom, Amanda, goes looking for her runaway daughter at the coffeehouse. Cassie (Camryn Grimes) overhears and blabs about Amanda living with the Chancellors. She clearly has never been taught not to talk to strangers – or tell them other people’s business. Meanwhile, in a total coincidence, Mac, out of the blue, brings up her mom to Billy (David Tom). What are the odds? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
