The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, July 23, 2020 features fan-favorite triangles from June 2, 2008, when Jack and Nick had different ideas about how to present guest star Katy Perry, Jeffrey is the man in the middle between Gloria and Jill, and Victor needs to stop staring at his child bride long enough to deal with his biggest problem child.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Katy Perry will be on the cover of Restless Style. Business partners Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Jack (Peter Bergman) are in agreement over that. What they’re not in agreement on is just how much Katy is appropriate to grace their debut issue. Nick says more. Jack says less. But Katy is The Firecracker That Roared. She’ll make the final decision, thank you very much.

Dressed For Success

Gloria (Judith Chapman) is working for Lauren (Tracey Bregman) now. She’s also with Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) – you know, the guy who, in the Christmas episode, she didn’t want mentioned.

At the moment, though, not only does Gloria want Jeffrey, but so does Jill (Jess Walton). To get back at her for sniffing around her man, Gloria slashes Jill’s dress. Jill throws a hissy fit. Kay (Jeanne Cooper) tries to get Jill to accept that Jeffrey just isn’t that into her. The maturity on display here among women who are also grandmothers is truly staggering.

Family Romance

Victor (Eric Braeden) is married to a child. OK, she is technically a legal adult. But she is a school friend of Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle). And Victor was no spring chicken when Victoria was born!

Victor is so happy spoiling little Sabrina, that he isn’t interested in whatever it is Adam (Chris Engen) is whining about this time.

How about if Victor gives Adam a division of his own to run? Would that make him happy? And make him go away? Done! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
