The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 13 mixes up entire episodes where everyone in Genoa City is talking about Adam with an episode where the entire thing takes place in Adam’s head – with multiple guest appearances. Here is what Adam is thinking today:
Adam (Mark Grossman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) play a chess game. In black and white! It’s all very profound. And Ingemar Bergman.
Victor says he will do anything to protect his family, his son, and those he loves. But not necessarily in that order. Adam should be grateful! And obedient!
Nick (Joshua Morrow) says he still doesn’t trust his brother. Adam whines that he opened up his heart to Nick. Doesn’t he deserve a second chance?
Sharon (Sharon Case) says that she is grateful to Adam for saving Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) life, but she and Adam are over, and he should let her go.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) says that Adam is the one who drove her crazy. He insists that he loves her, he never cheated on her, and kissing Sharon was a mistake. Chelsea chants, too late, too late, too late. (Remember, Adam, doesn’t know that Chelsea is faking her crazy in a deal with Victor to stay out of prison.)
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) says that she will never give Adam a chance to redeem himself and that she’s the winner here!
Adam wakes up from his self-centered dream and heads out into the hall to check on Faith. Nick asks him what he plans to do next. Adam babbles about wanting to change. Sharon stops by to visit him. Adam announces he’s going to be a better person now. And he’s not going to bother Sharon anymore. He’s going to reunite Sharon and Rey! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
