The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Remember last week when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) floated the idea of an all-woman spa at The Grand Phoenix? Well, this week, she’s got it all set up! Yes, she’s just that good! She should run for office!
Her spa is all prepared. The only thing it’s missing is… customers. No worries! Phyllis has a secret weapon. Nick (Joshua Morrow). She tells him to go round up his friends and family for her launch. K, says Nick.
Tea Time, Music, and Blasts
Traci (Beth Maitland) and Lily (Christel Khalil) are invited to share a high tea. They do so and talk about the late Colleen.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is escorted to a private room where she can play the piano, while granddaughter Summer (Hunter King) gets video games.
That’s all well and good, but we’ve got to ask: Summer and Lily live alone. Nikki and Traci live in huge mansions. The whole point of a spa is to get away from your real life, leave your worries behind, and do something different and relaxing. What’s stopping these women from playing the piano, video games, and/or drinking tea at home?
Work Break
At least Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) have real, stressful jobs, not ones handed to them by their families. They do deserve a day of pampering. So they lie back, take a dip in a whirlpool, get mani/pedis and bond about being poor, now being rich. They decide they like it.
Paranoia
Phyllis invites Abby (Melissa Ordway). She thinks it’s an evil plot. She doesn’t relax. Good thing she’s already rich. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
