The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 5 picks up on the roof caving in on Adam and Nick, while Victor wants to do the same to Chelsea, and Nikki drops a bombshell on Sharon.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
The sky is falling – literally! Nick (Joshua Morrow) shoves Adam (Mark Grossman) out of the way so that he ends up being the one squashed and trapped. He tells Adam this is his chance to redeem himself – go and get help, Lassie!
While Nick waits for him to come back, he slowly bleeds into unconsciousness. Faith (Reylynn Caster) appears as a vision that somehow manages to be even whinier than in person.
Back at the hospital, real-life Faith must feel herself astral projecting to Kansas and has an attack of… uh… kidney failure? Luckily, Adam returns with an ambulance for Nick, and they shake hands in a manly, respectful manner.
Setting A Trap
Victor (Eric Braeden) tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about trapping Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) return home to find Victor sitting in the shadows, supervillain style.
The only thing he’s missing is a cat to pet. Victor tells Chelsea that if she doesn’t admit to framing Adam, he’ll sue for custody of Conner (Judah Mackey). And you know Victor will win. Because Victor always wins.
My Favorite
Nikki stops by to support Sharon (Sharon Case) and tells her she prefers her as a match for Nick to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). This isn’t too shocking, as Sharon is just antagonistic, while Phyllis is downright certifiable.
Rey stops by and Sharon wants to talk marriage stuff, but he isn’t interested. He has some soup for her, though! Sharon wouldn’t have had time to chat long anyway. The hospital calls to say that something is vaguely wrong with Faith. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
