The Young and the Restless Recap: Has Lily Cracked Billy’s Case?

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 17, 2020, continues with Lily trying to clear Billy’s name, Victoria keeping his spirits up, and Summer suspecting Sally, while Lauren supports her.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Lily (Christel Khalil) snooped around Alyssa’s (Maria DiDomenico) room and found a pair of shooting gloves. She went running to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), telling him he should investigate Alyssa. Cool, Rey says. Police detectives always take orders from their suspect’s kinda girlfriends. He goes to the room where GCPD is keeping Alyssa and finds said gloves. He brings them in as evidence. Prompting us to, once again, ask: Why would she keep them if she’s the shooter?

Loyal Women

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is Billy’s lawyer again. She and Lily discuss how they’re going to get him out. Victoria comes to see her ex-husband to tell him she will make sure Johnny and Katie know that she believes in their daddy.

At the same time, Victor (Eric Braeden) is telling Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that he can’t jet off to London on New Year’s Eve with her. He has to stay in town to make sure Billy gets locked up for good. Er… support Victoria and the children through his trial.

Bad Girl

Jack (Peter Bergman) tells Sally (Courtney Hope) to be less ambitious. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) tells Sally that ambition is great – as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else. Sally is just like a spunky young Lauren!

Summer (Hunter King), meanwhile, tells Kyle (Michael Mealor) to watch out for Sally. She is too ambitious! Nah, Kyle says, he can handle her.

He and Summer go off to sip hot chocolate and discuss how newly in love they are. But they want to take things slow now. Oh, and for those who are counting, they’re engaged again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
