The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, April 6, 2020, saw Adam pushing Victoria on Victor’s behalf, Phyllis surprising Nicholas, and Mariah, Tessa, and Faith weeping on Sharon’s behalf.
Back In Black(Mail)
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was giddy with pride over her blackmailing man. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) asked if it was legal. Chelsea claimed it was. Did she know how the law worked?
Adam (Mark Grossman) let Victoria (Amelia Heinle) know that he had evidence that Victor had a man killed. He won’t publish it… if Victoria stepped down as head of Newman Enterprises. Victoria called Adam names. Victor called him a blackmailer.
Adam didn’t like that word. Like Chelsea, he was clearly living in some other verbal universe. Victor and Victoria called Adam a few more names. After he left, Victor said he needed to tell Victoria something.
Back home, Adam pitched yet another of his patented hissy fits about how daddy won’t let him have his way. Chelsea reminded him of how wonderful he was. Victor was wrong, Adam was right. A call came in and Victor was ready to give Adam his way. Hey, remember when Victor faked his death in order to keep Adam from getting his way? Just how gullible is Adam?
Support Staff
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was moved when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) offered Summer (Hunter King) heartfelt advice about supporting Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) through Sharon’s (Sharon Case) health crises. Phyllis wondered if Nick would stick by her if Phyllis were the one sick. She suddenly had to take off, leaving Nick confused.
Meanwhile, Sharon thanked Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) for being there for Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Remember that tour Tessa was committed to last week? The one Mariah agreed to join her on? It’s over now! Tessa, Mariah, and Faith offer Sharon their support, then went to the movies. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
