The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 2, 2019, features a show that might have required turning down the volume as Devon and Elena yelled at everyone who didn’t agree with them.

Plus, Nick learned Chelsea was moving in with Adam and Connor (and Nick is a yeller, too), while Billy tried to find himself — and even that managed to get loud. Abby was also loud as she shrieked to Chance about another robbery.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Devon (Bryton James) had every right to be furious when he finds out that Chance’s (Danny Boaz) stupidity allowed Colin (Tristan Rogers) to escape from police custody. He yelled about it to Elena and blamed Cane (Daniel Goddard). Elena (Brytni Sarpy) pointed out they’re not sure if Cane is guilty, but Devon didn’t need any proof.

Later, Elena picked up the yelling stick when she berated Nate (Sean Dominic) for insisting on not hating Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to Elena’s satisfaction. Devon still won’t forgive her for looking like Hilary. She should be more sorry about this!

Meanwhile, Chance continued acting like he’s still a good secret agent by helping Abby (Melissa Ordway) set a trap for the jewel thief operating in the hotel. He also told her the plot of Die Hard and teased that it’s a true story from his past. Abby proved not to be a complete idiot.

Big Boy Billy

Billy (Jason Thompson) can’t figure out who he wants to be when he grows up now that he’s quite Jabot. He wandered into a bar and helped Amanda when a guy wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Moving On

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) she’s moving in with Adam (Mark Grossman) for Connor’s (Judah Mackey) sake. Nick was unhappy and told her so but, after a chat with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), he decided to grudgingly allow Chelsea to make her own decisions. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
