The Young and the Restless Recap: Revelations
Adam (Mark Grossman) somehow knew to arrive at the ranch — seriously who sent him that text? It wasn’t Victor (Eric Braeden) who was clearly surprised to see his son standing before him — and got the shock of his life when he saw his father large as life and clearly alive.
The two argued about how who tried to kill who and rehashed the same old argument about Victor being a bad dad. Adam admitted to switching his father’s pills and he kinda sorta apologized for the whole trying to commit patricide thing. Then, just as suddenly as he appeared, Adam was gone.
Forgive and Forget
It seemed that literally every member of the immediate Newman family (even off-canvas Noah) was privy to Victor’s faked death EXCEPT Summer (Hunter King). Heck, even Dudley Do-Right aka Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) was in the know!
But when the coterie of criminals learned that their ringleader has decided to simply forgive Adam his trespass, forget the incident and forge ahead with reintegrating into the land of the living they were, understandably, pissed off!
Hoping to make his transition back into society as smooth as possible, Victor had Michael (Christian LeBlanc) hold a press conference where the story was put forth that owning to viable threats against his life, Victor faked his passing to smoke out the culprit.
