The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 17 features Billy and Nick trying to worm their way out of trouble, Hilary getting a shocking offer, and much more.
Red Hot Wrath
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) had some harsh words for Summer (Hunter King) when she returned home. Her daughter knew Billy (Jason Thompson) was a gambling addict and had no right to push him towards the cards.
To her credit, Summer admitted to everything – including using Billy when she lost her fortune and all the subsequent lies and cover-ups.
Fireworks ensued when Billy came home and Phyllis went off on her boyfriend and daughter. She ended up packing her bags and breaking up with him.
A Furious Family
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) also got a shock when they heard the truth from Victor (Eric Braeden).
While they could understand Nick’s rage, he went way too far. He had the whole family living in fear for no reason except revenge.
Facing The Music
Nick wasn’t off the hook yet. He still had to contend with his mom and sister. Victoria was stunned by his plot and Nikki seriously considered disowning him. Nick’s ruthless behavior and lack of remorse showed his true colors and the women could do nothing more but walk away.
New Horizons?
The Hamilton house was full of secrets starting with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) running off for a meeting with a national producer. She wants to see her star rise but it’s imperative no one else find out – at least, not yet.
Unfortunately, her secret won’t stay a secret for long. She was caught red-handed by none other than Mariah!

Thankfully, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was paying more attention to her date with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) than she was with Hilary. Her night with Tessa had her on cloud nine, especially when they ended their evening with a romantic kiss.
Teen Trouble!
Back at the condo, Shauna took advantage of an empty house and invited Charlie over. Thankfully, the duo stopped their kissing before it went too far, but not until they made plans for a night together.
