The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, May 10, 2021 finally gets Adam and Faith into surgery for her kidney transplant, while Imani offers Amanda an unexpected apology.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nate (Sean Dominic) agrees to keep Adam’s (Mark Grossman) presence in Genoa City a secret until Faith (Reylynn Caster) gets the kidney. How he’s going to silence the other members of the medical team, including the surgeon and nurses, we’re not sure.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) agrees not to arrest Adam until after Faith is out of danger. Sharon (Sharon Case) seems surprised that Rey still wants to punish the man he believes tried to kill him. She reveals that she’s the one who urged Adam to turn himself in – but then reminds Rey that he admitted he is starting to doubt Adam’s guilt.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) practically trills with glee at the thought of Adam getting cuffs slapped on him the minute he comes out of the anesthesia.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) brings Nick (Joshua Morrow) soup, while Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t make it to the hospital. He is busy threatening Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). And then he calls Rey and orders him to his house. Who is paying your salary, man?
How Many Times Can I Say I’m Sorry?
Amanda (Karla Mosley) questions Sutton’s (Jack Landron) claims that Richard didn’t know Naya (Ptosha Storey) was pregnant, and that Sutton didn’t know who his employee was talking to or why. All Sutton insists is that he didn’t kill the man.
Later, Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) offers an apology to Amanda. Amanda doesn’t buy it. She wants to know why the sudden change of heart? Imani claims her parents gave her a stern talking to, and now she believes Amanda only has the family’s best interests at heart.
Hey, did Amanda know that Imani went to law school, too? They can work together! Amanda remains suspicious, and Devon (Bryton James) joins her in cynicism. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
