The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 2, 2021, continues to focus on the fall-out from Harrison’s paternity reveal, as Summer worries about what this means for her, Phyllis worries what this means for Summer, and Kyle worries what this means for him… and Summer.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Sex helps Summer (Hunter King) feel better about Kyle (Michael Mealor) being Harrison’s father. That lasts only as long as her telling Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Nina (Tricia Cast) about the situation her “friend” is in, and Abby and Nina wonder about the role the kid’s mother will now play in the new dad’s life.

At the same time, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is pointing out to Kyle that Summer already ran out on one wedding of theirs. And now she has an even better reason to do so.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) wishes that would happen, as she reminds Jack (Peter Bergman), who is giddy about his new grandson, that the true victim in this story is poor Summer. At the end of the day, Kyle can’t find Tara or Harrison.

Bad Old Days

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman) want to partner with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and New Hope. Nick isn’t sure he wants to go back into business with his father and brother. Devon (Bryton James) isn’t sure what to think of the family retorts back and forth.

Billy (Jason Thompson) has his suspicions about the new Newman Media company and decides to launch the first strike as he writes a mean story about them. Victor will not be ignoring it.

Crazy Is as Crazy Does

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is suspicious about Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) alleged mental breakdown. He tries to get his wife to confess. When she doesn’t, he goes to threaten Chelsea about ever mentioning Chloe’s (Elizabeth Henrickson) involvement. At the same time, Adam offers Chloe a job. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
