The Young and the Restless Recap: Everyone Wants Chelsea

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 20, 2019, features Chelsea as the most popular girl in Genoa City as Nick, Adam, and Connor all desperately wanted and need her. Plus, Phyllis had a public meltdown, and Devon continued telling Nate he shouldn’t like Amanda. Because Devon says so.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Sharon (Sharon Case) confronted Connor (Judah Mackey) about his lies, but he proved that the acorn doesn’t fall far from the Adam tree by playing the oh, poor me, pity me, I am sad and the only thing that will make me happy is Mommy and Daddy getting back together.

Meanwhile, Mommy was with Nick (Joshua Morrow)… having sex. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick talked about the state of their relationship and decided they still haven’t given up hope.

On the other hand, Sharon talked to Adam (Mark Grossman) about not letting Connor harbor false hope about him and Chelsea reuniting. Adam responded by telling Connor they can team up on convincing Mommy he needs a skateboard.

Adam dreamed of kissing Chelsea and her telling him she loves him. Chelsea arrived home but insisted she was too tired to talk with Adam.

Phyllis: Woman On the Edge

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) took the whining stick from Connor when she told Jack (Peter Bergman) that Adam asked Phyllis to do something disgusting. Jack wasn’t sympathetic, wondering if she just wasn’t a woman scorned. Phyllis responded by informing everyone within hearing range that she isn’t having sex with Adam. Duly noted. Later, Summer (Hunter King) told Phyllis that Nick and Chelsea might be on the outs.

Broken Record

Devon (Bryton James) was still angry that Nate (Sean Dominic) wasn’t listening to him about Amanda (Mishael Morgan). He tattled that Amanda had her internet history scrubbed. Devon was happy that Elena (Brytni Sarpy) at least was still on his side. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
