The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 10, 2002, features Sharon and Kyle giving advice to Mariah, Nikki giving advice to Sharon, Rey giving advice to Billy, and Amanda giving advice to a virtual stranger, because… well, everybody knows everything in Genoa City!
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon (Sharon Case) was disappointed that her chemo session was canceled due to a low white cell count. She passed the time telling Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to go to work and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to go track down Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and reunite! Pronto! Her sick mother says so!
Later, Kyle (Michael Mealor) told Mariah the same thing. Because he’s an expert on relationships now that he’s not yet divorced from Lola (Sasha Calle) and dating his ex-wife again.
Rey called Nikki and asked her to visit Sharon and tell her to be more receptive to people trying to help her. Nikki did. There was crying. And hugging.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) continued to blame Billy (Jason Thompson) for her stabbing. That’s not his fault. And for her heart being broken again. That is totally his fault.
Rey — unprovoked — told Billy that victims of crime often conflate the attack and the person who was with them at the time. Do these two guys even know each other?
Amanda Makes A Decision
Meanwhile, doctors and lawyers hung out in a totally separate story. Nate (Sean Dominic) treated the grandfather of Jared, the kid he and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) treated during the ice storm.
Elena was thrilled to be helping the poor and needy — even though she doesn’t even know what Child Protective Services is. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) was the one who filled her in. She was also inspired by Jared to become a do-gooder lawyer. Everyone felt very good about themselves. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
