The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, March 11, 2002, features Victor and Adam both making very different plans for Nicholas, while Abby came up with an even riskier plan to stand by her man, and Billy continued his “pity me” tour.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Nick (Joshua Morrow) assured Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he is only keeping her CEO chair warm, but Victoria didn’t want to talk about it. Nate (Sean Dominic) warned that the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder she got from JT has returned, and Nick’s stint as her of Newman Enterprises might be longer than he expects.

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) put out a press release making it sound like Nick is the new CEO – period. Victoria, who? He assured Nick it’s just for appearances. He knows his son isn’t back for good.

Adam was also unhappy. But that’s because he wanted the job, he deserved the job, and he should have gotten the job, if for no other reasons than those. Chelsea first sang his praises to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), then told Adam they’ll get back at Nick. But, first, a Kansas wedding!

Make Believe For Abby

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) taunted Abby (Melissa Ordway) about the break-in and destruction of her computer but made it clear she wasn’t worried. Safety deposit boxes are where it’s at.

Abby told Chance (Danny Boaz) that Phyllis must have a copy of the incriminating confession in her safety deposit box. And Abby will impersonate Phyllis to get it! This makes amazingly perfect sense!

Boy On Fire

Billy (Jason Thompson) filled Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in on the disaster that is his life. Ashley wondered why he always makes things so difficult for himself. She then talked about Dina (Marla Adams). Ashley has finally forgiven her. She mentioned how much time she wasted resenting her. Take a lesson, Billy. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
