The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 5 goes back to April 16, 2004, and goes down below Genoa City, into the sewers with Nikki and Sharon. Meanwhile, Jack is about to have a Human Resources on his hands, while Phyllis is facing the mother of all battles. Plus, Brittany wallows in self-pity.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon (Sharon Case) thinks she killed Cameron (Linden Ashby), a one-night stand who abused her. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wants that disgusting scandal kept as far away from the pristine Newman family as possible. So when Larry says he dumped the body in the sewer, Nikki and Sharon descend into the mush themselves, just to make sure. But what they find isn’t Cameron’s body. It’s the body of Frank, Cassie’s biological father.
Get Lost
Jack (Peter Bergman) fires Damon (Keith Hamilton Cobb) from the lab at Jabot. Because Damon slept with Jack’s wife, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). This is a good reason to punch a guy in the face. Firing him is legally iffy. Jack claims this isn’t because of Phyllis. It’s that Damon’s research is too expensive. Dru (Victoria Rowell) feels obliged to put her two cents in. Let’s talk about the most important person in the room – her.
Baby Mama Drama
Phyllis blames Christine (Lauralee Bell) for Daniel not wanting to see her. She doesn’t believe that it’s actually Daniel who is resistant and that Danny (Michael Damian) is the one trying to talk his son into giving mom a break. Daniel isn’t interested in what Danny has to say, so he is happy to let him talk to Raoul (David Lago).
Raoul wonders if Danny might hire Brittany (Lauren Woodward) to sing with him since she is feeling self-conscious about her newly-scarred face. Danny is game, but Brittany is too busy wallowing. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
