The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, February 22, 2021, features Devon and thinking about family, while Jack stands up for Sally, and Rey stands up to Sharon.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Devon (Bryton James) how Abby (Melissa Ordway) is searching for the perfect sperm donor for her baby… she just can’t find one that meets her very high standards. Hey, Devon thought to himself, I am pretty amazing. Why don’t I donate my sperm to Abby? That way we’ll keep it all in the family! After all, Devon’s grandmother, Kay (Jeanne Cooper), killed Chance’s (Donny Boaz) grandfather, Phillip. This is exactly what they would have wanted.
Son Shine
Before Mariah is summoned to Abby’s so Devon can make his grand gesture, she has to listen to Kyle (Michael Mealor) get all angsty about the son he may have with a woman he seemingly hasn’t thought of in years. He’s keeping it a secret from Summer (Hunter King), though. Because, honestly, that’s the kind of relationship they’ve always had. Why change now?
Red Versus Red
When Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) sees Sally (Courtney Hope) having a perfectly neutral conversation with Jack (Peter Bergman), she warns him to stay away from the viper. Later, Phyllis warns Sally that she is onto her. Sally is about this far from going, “OK, Boomer.” Phyllis and Summer discuss how awful is for wanting the exact same things Phyllis has broken multiple laws to acquire, and Summer was born into.
Road Block
While Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) cares very much about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), he also needs to talk to Sharon (Sharon Case) about her continuing to jump whenever Adam (Mark Grossman) snaps his finger. Sharon offers not to see him again, but Rey doesn’t believe her. She’s made that promise too many times before.
Meanwhile, after a chat with Summer about the bad bullies at school, Faith demands to know how Sharon could have kissed Evil Adam? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
