The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 24, 2020, features the continuation of their Emmy-winning theme, this time with an episode from October 16, 2006, when a newly-deaf Devon still went out to protect his family – terrifying them in the process, while Bryton James won a shiny gold trophy!
Plus, remember that time when YR went all-in on a missing Holocaust art piece story? Yeah, this is that time. And was there ever a time when Jack and Jill weren’t fighting over something? This time, it’s Jabot, and Jack double-crossing his ex-stepmother… and lover.
Devon isn’t going to let a little thing like not being able to hear keep him from telling Carmen to stop harassing Dru (Victoria Rowell). He lets her have it in a public place, only for Neil (Kristoff St. John) to come and drag him out like Devon is some little kid.
Devon’s concerned parents are only looking out for him, but Devon is just as ready to let them have it for not believing he can overcome his disability!
Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) art portfolio gets stolen, and it’s all part of a hunt for treasures looted by the Nazis during the Holocaust. Colleen wonders if her art history professor could be behind it all, so she decides to scope him out. Meanwhile, Brad (Don Diamont) hides that his real name is George. Yes, that’s all part of the story.
Jack (Peter Bergman) sets up a dummy corporation to buy Jabot out from under its current CEO Jill (Jess Walton). He’s also got a hot guy pretending to be the new owner. That never hurts with Jill. Jill’s not going to take being overruled lying down… Then again, Mr. Kim IS quite hot… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
