The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, July 13, 2020, kicks off a week focused on Baldwins and Fishers, by reminding us of all the people they’ve hurt. Kevin begs Michael to get him out of trouble as Lily tries to decide whether to get Kevin into it.
Plus, Victor shows Nick why he isn’t the worst father who ever lived, and Phyllis resents having to stop playing mother to Kyle. It’s 2003 Thanksgiving without a whole lot to be thankful for!
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Dru (Victoria Rowell) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) gently pressure Lily (Christel Khalil) to press charges against Kevin (Greg Rikaart) for statutory rape – and the sexually transmitted disease that came with it, but Lily isn’t sure she wants to relive the entire ordeal in court… or get Kevin into trouble.
Kevin, meanwhile, is explaining to Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) how yeah, sure, he did those things to Lily – and let’s not even discuss trying to kill Colleen (Lyndsay Fonseca) – but, just because he did them doesn’t mean he should go to jail for it! He’s claustrophobic – like that mobster from Port Charles – so shouldn’t they get an exemption if jail might prove unpleasant for them? Michael isn’t impressed.
Daddy Direst
Over at the Newman house, Victor (Eric Braeden) is using the same I had a terrible daddy excuse as Kevin. Now that Nick (Joshua Morrow) has seen what a bastard Albert (George Kennedy) is, shouldn’t he promise never to blame Victor for any bad deed again?
Mommy Nearest
Diane has won custody of Kyle, and she’s come to get him from Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis seems to be having a harder time giving up the stepson she briefly took care of than her own biological child, who she didn’t see for years! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
