The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 26, 2020, goes back to August 14, 2003, for another classic villain flashback, as Isabella prepares to finish Christine off for good – while having the world’s best alibi. Meanwhile, back at the strip club, Brittany has something to tell Bobby, and Raoul plays undercover brother.
Isabella (Eva Longoria) is one angry lady. Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) brought Isabella to town to break up Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell). She did an excellent job. They split up. They still loved each other. But they split up. Isabella gave birth to her and Paul’s son, Ricky. But Christine was still a thorn in her side.
So Isabella decided to fake her death – and make it look like Christine killed her. As normal people do under the circumstances.
Then, once she was presumed dead, Isabella returned to kill Christine. No one would suspect her. Because she’s presumed dead.
It’s a foolproof plan! Except that a pair of fools, Paul and Michael, was slowly but surely starting to figure it out. They rescued Christine. Isabella ended up in the loony bin. Eight years later, Ricky returned. Fully grown. Also crazy. Also homicidal. Paul really shouldn’t have children. Or date.
By day, Brittany (Lauren Woodland) was a blue-blooded Genoa City teenager, hanging around with Billy, Mackenzie, JT (Thad Luckinbill), and boyfriend Raul (David Lago). By night, she was Marilyn, a singer in a strip club. As normal people do, under the circumstances.
Brittany found herself in over her head, as strip club owner Bobby (John Enos) gave her an expensive necklace. Brittany wanted to know what it means. Bobby shrugged. What did Brittany think it means? She hemmed and hawed about having a boyfriend. Bobby doesn’t particularly care.
But said boyfriend, Raul, did. And he arrived at the club to see for himself. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
