The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 25, 2021, finds Chelsea showing off her best con-artist skills while Adam fumes about not being able to see Conner. Plus Amanda questions her mother and sister while Victor offers the slightest of threats to Devon.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) gets Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) official statement, where she insists that she only acted the way she did because Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were having an affair right in front of her.
She then allows Rey to convince her that she imagined the whole thing. Oh, no, Chelsea sobs, what a bad girl she’s been, will Rey ever forgive her? Oh, and can he keep coming to visit her?
Rey tells Sharon about the encounter and admits he can’t tell if Chelsea is faking it or not. If she is, then he should keep visiting her so he can catch her in the act. And if she’s not, maybe he can help her.
Adam also visits Chelsea, magnanimously taking the blame for driving her to the edge, then tells her that Conner (Judah Mackey) needs a parent he can count on. Since it obviously won’t be her, it should be him. Cancel that restraining order, Chels. Hell to the no, Adam! He’ll turn Conner against her!
Naya (Ptosha Storey) claims to be shocked that Rick knew she was pregnant and even went searching for his child. Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) insists her mother needs time to process the news, but Amanda (Karla Mosely) pushes to know if her mother is telling the truth. Naya is insulted and insists that she is.
At the same time, Victor (Eric Braeden) is having a friendly chat with Devon (Bryton James). During which he basically threatens Amanda’s legal career if she continues trying to defend her grandfather – at Newman’s expense. Amanda assumes she’s on the right track. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
