The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, July 6, 2020, kicks off a week of summer fun in the sun with an episode from July 27, 1999. Christine manages to make Cassie’s party about her, Billy returns to town in a grumpy mood, and a family we bet you don’t even remember is making some serious waves!
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Cassie (Camryn Grimes) is officially a member of the Newman family! Grandpa Victor (Eric Braeden) and Grandma Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) throw a party by their pool to celebrate!
In attendance is Christine (Lauralee Bell), who won the case for Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow), but worries that Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) was right, it wasn’t because of her skill, it was because of luck. (Actually, it was because Cassie saved the day with her sweet-voiced little appeal.) So she decides to dwell on it. Let’s hope she doesn’t bring anybody else down with her.
Room To Grow
Mackenzie (Ashley Bashium) is still uncomfortable with her new status as Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) out-of-nowhere granddaughter. She’s not sure where she fits in with this family. Especially with snarky Jill (Jess Walton) lurking in the background. So Kay invites Billy (then-David Tom) to move in and keep Mac company. No way this could ever go wrong.
Sister Saga
One sister, Tricia, is pregnant by Ryan (Scott Reeves). Another sister, Megan, has a bad boyfriend who is leading her straight to prison. Their dad, Keith, is worried. Don’t get too attached. They’re on the front burner now. But they’ll soon disappear without a trace. No one even mentions them anymore. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
