The Young and the Restless recap for October 28-November 1, 2019 features Chelsea getting quite a fright and Theo getting quite a shock. Read on to see what you missed this week in Genoa City.
It appears that somebody in GC doesn’t want to share their toys. At least that’s the feeling one gets considering the vitriolic attacks that Kyle (Michael Mealor) launched into at anyone who would dare suggest that he and Theo (Tyler Johnson) might be related.
But that does appear to be the case. A conversation with an old friend of Dina’s (Marla Adams) here and a discovered adoption certificate there and suddenly Traci (Beth Maitland) and Jack (Peter Bergman) learned that they had an elder brother who was adopted by a Chicago based family — last name Vanderway — who named the babe Eric.
And Kyle? Well, he pumped Theo for information and found that lo and behold his former friend’s name dad was named Eric. How neatly this all fell into place.
In no time flat, Jack invited Theo over and informed him that he could possibly be related. No matter how much Kyle argued that Theo was a no-good guy out for money — the words parasite, bastard, and villain were tossed around — he couldn’t convince anyone that this had been his former bestie’s plan all along.
And even though he couldn’t get anyone on his side — not even Lola (Sasha Calle) — Kyle made sure to let Theo know that no matter the DNA test results proved he would NEVER be family.
In a perfect example of colleterial damage, Nate (Sean Dominic) was informed that he may have his license to practice medicine revoked in the state of Wisconsin thanks to his actions in the Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) case.
With Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) — his newly hired lawyer — by his side, Nate personally voiced his vehement displeasure to Victor. “YOU got to rise from the ashes unscathed, but I could lose everything.”
And Victor…apologized. What’s more, he seemed genuine. In fact, he promised to do everything in his power to help Nate win his case — including taking the blame for the entire plot.
As if Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) life couldn’t get more complicated, a shady character from her late husband’s past — Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) — arrived and informed her that she had something that belonged to him.
It turned out that dodgy cash found stuffed inside Calvin’s storage unit was not Chelsea’s to take and Simon wants it back toot sweet — or else! The only problem? The government has seized the …continue reading on the next page —>

Can we just agree right now that Nicolas (Joshua Morrow) bid for a seat on the city council is a very bad idea? Or that maybe Phyllis should have taken that cool million Adam offered her and be happy?
Can we also agree that things seemed to a little too fast in soap plot time for the Theo reveal? The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
