The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, January 30, 2020, features Billy and Victoria processing their break up in very different ways, while Kyle and Summer pondering his marriage, and Phyllis giving Chance something to remember her by.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) moved herself and the kids to the ranch and lamented to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Billy (Jason Thompson) walking out. Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t pretend to be saddened by the news — he thinks Victoria can do better — but he did give her some boxing gloves so she can throw a few punches before sobbing her broken heart out.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) celebrated no longer having anyone to answer to by getting into a bar fight — which beats the poker game he was considering; hey, dude, remember that gambling problem you have… or is that too judgy?
He got arrested and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) bailed him out. But when he started in again with the navel-gazing, even she couldn’t stomach it and walks out.
The Honeymoon Is Over
Less than a year into it, Kyle (Michael Mealor) already feels like his marriage is in trouble. He and Lola (Sasha Calle) are drifting apart, he lamented to Jack (Peter Bergman). Like his dad knows anything about staying married.
Phyllis Time
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) used her date with Chance (Donny Boaz) to pump him about Adam (Mark Grossman), but Chance wasn’t playing. When Summer (Hunter King) sent her mama an SOS, Phyllis bailed, but not before giving Chance a kiss as a preview of coming attractions.
With Summer, Phyllis warned her daughter to be careful. But Summer said she kissed Kyle, he kissed her back, and now she can’t wait for his marriage to implode all on its own. Summer is going after her man! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
