The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 30 continues with everyone’s Adam obsession. Victor and Chelsea don’t want Billy to publish his article about Victor’s prodigal son, Phyllis doesn’t want Nick to get involved in his family’s drama, and Adam’s fate is even responsible for Lily learning about Amanda’s DNA, and Abby coming clean to Chance.
The Young and the Restless Recap
Adam (Mark Grossman), who wanted to handle his own affairs, calls Victor (Eric Braeden) and whines about big, bad Billy (Jason Thompson) running a story about Adam’s past. Victor mumbles that he’ll take care of it. Billy isn’t in the mood to listen.
Chelsea Bugs Out
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) wants Billy to think of Conner (Judah Mackey) before he publishes his exposé. Billy would rather think about the bug he finds hidden in his lamp, which explains how Adam knew about his plans.
Drop Out
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is impressed that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is bucking Victor in order to side with Billy, but Phyllis also doesn’t want Nick (Joshua Morrow) to get sucked back into his father’s orbit. Because it would kill Phyllis’s buzz.
Sister Act
Billy ends up telling Lily (Christel Khalil) about Amanda (Mishael Morgan) being Hilary’s twin. Lily is shocked. Amanda isn’t pleased. Billy admits it wasn’t his secret to tell and is truly sorry. But things get even worse after a confrontation with Victor when he strikes a low blow that causes Billy to pull the trigger on the Adam story!
Baby Talk
Abby (Melissa Ordway) admits to Chance (Danny Boaz) that she lost a baby girl a few years ago, which is why she reacted so oddly when Chance made an off-handed remark about having children with her someday. Chance is understanding, but Abby is still unsettled.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who is sitting at the Society bar seemingly just looking for an opportunity to give advice, tells Abby to chill. Abby does. And then everybody goes back to worrying about Adam. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
