The Young and the Restless Recap: Billy and Lily Miss the Obvious

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 9 finds Billy and Lily missing the competition that’s right under their own noses, Devon lamenting how lovable he is to Abby, and Kyle and Summer making faces at Jack and Sally.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily want to buy Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) media company. Mostly because Victor (Eric Braeden) wanted to buy it first. But they learn that there’s another bidder. They wonder who it could be.

Devon (Bryton James)? Nah, he would have told Lily. Adam (Mark Grossman)? They decide he doesn’t have the capital. (And have no idea that Victor is actually planning to have him run the company once he buys it.)

Neither one thinks of Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Who not only wants to be in business with Billy but other things, too. Billy is determined to figure the mystery out tonight. But then Lily says she’s going to bed… wanna join? And he gets over it.

Secret Lovers

Abby (Melissa Ordway) gets ready for her egg retrieval procedure by chatting with Devon about his love life. He admits that Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is aces, but he also slept with Elena (Brytni Sarpy) – and hasn’t told Amanda about it. Why is he so gosh darn sexy???? Later, Devon texts Elena. They need to talk.

Phantom Kiss

Jack (Peter Bergman) shares his past with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) mom with Sally (Courtney Hope).

Kyle and Summer (Hunter King) come in and make grody-to-the-max faces as they discuss how this is their worst nightmare come true. Summer offers to have sex with Kyle to make him forget this and his heartache over possibly having a son. Kyle says, sounds good to me.

Meanwhile, Jack kisses Sally… off-camera. Both assure us it was awesome. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
