The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 21 reverts to Phyllis Summers and Kyle Abbott blaming Sally Spectra for all their problems, Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke face issues with their respective kids, while Nikki Newman disagrees with Victor Newman, and Moses Winters seeks advice from Lily Winters.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Even though Summer Newman (Hunter King) told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to drop it, Phyllis continues to believe she is defending her baby girl’s honor by continuing to mess with Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) mind.
This time, she confesses that she was only pretending to forgive Tara for breaking up Summer and Kyle (Michael Mealor). But now that she’s being honest, what she really wants to tell Tara is never to trust Sally (Courtney Hope).
At the same time, Kyle is yelling at Sally for, once again, getting close to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Oh, and Kyle is sure Sally had something to do with Summer getting her dream job in Milan.

Y&R Recap: Parent Trap
Earlier, Kyle told Ashland (Richard Burgi) that his illness is very upsetting for Harrison, and he and Tara want sole custody as a result. Victoria also had to pop over to Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson), where she and her ex-husband agreed they’ll help Johnny and Katie deal with Mommy moving in with a dying man. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) argue about the same thing.
Ashland and Victoria confront Kyle and Tara. Ashland struggling to breathe makes Tara’s point that he’s bad for Harrison. While the grown-ups talk, Kyle butts in to remind them that he is the biological daddy. Everyone pats him on the head and moves on.
The Young and the Restless: Side Note
Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) asks Lily (Christel Khalil) for advice about his crush on Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Lily says to just keep doing what he’s doing. That was helpful.
