The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Friday, August 10 features Kyle betting Summer won’t get Billy into bed by the end of the month, Cane begging Devon to help Lily, and Ashley asking Jack to undermine Billy at Jabot.
You Can Bet On It!
Kyle (Michael Mealor) teased Summer (Hunter King) about her failure to set up Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman).
(Meanwhile, Phyllis and Jack were figuring out that her daughter set them up, because they’re not idiots, and they’ve run a scam or two in their day, too.)
Kyle also told Summer she’ll never get Billy (Jason Thompson) into bed. Summer bet him that she will. And by the end of the month, too. If Summer doesn’t get Billy, then Kyle gets… Summer.
Jack admitted that he still cares about Phyllis, as Phyllis assured him she and Billy are solid. Phyllis also refused to help Ashley (Eileen Davidson) undermine Billy’s plans for Jaboutique. Ashley told Phyllis to prepare to get caught in the crossfire.
Ashley next went to Jack and asked him to use Dark Horse to cancel Billy’s leases. It’s what’s best for Jabot. Even if it puts Jack directly in between Ashley and Billy… and Phyllis.
Cane To the Rescue!
Lily (Christel Khalil) plead guilty and waited to be sentenced. Cane (Daniel Goddard) begged Devon (Bryton James) to speak on his sister’s behalf, but Devon snapped that he hopes Lily goes to prison and only gets to see her kids from behind bars.
Cane took a swing at him, but Nate (Brooks Darnell) stepped in. Nate tried to change Devon’s mind, but he’s determined to make Lily pay.
Cane changed tactics and got out his, Lily, and the kids’ passports. He then booked five plane tickets to Australia.
