The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, April 5 discovers Nick telling Faith about Adam, Amanda’s grandfather telling her he’s been keeping tabs on her, and Lockland telling Kyle his suspicions about Tara.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) fills Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) in on Adam (Mark Grossman) being the one to find her by the side of the road and bringing her into the hospital. He also tells her about Adam being on the run and accused of trying to kill Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Faith is confused that someone can be both good and bad at the same time.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick then finally get around to telling Faith there will be consequences for her reckless actions. Faith swears she’s do whatever it takes to make it up to them. Later, Sharon goes to see Adam.
Amanda’s grandfather, Sutton (Jack Landron), tried to convince her to defend him against charges of killing her father. He tells Amanda (Mishael Morgan) that he kept track of her and Hilary and always knew where they were.
He compliments her on pulling herself up by her bootstraps and tells her that if she comes in to defend him, the family will welcome her with open arms. She’ll finally know what it’s like to belong. Isn’t that better than a big retainer?
Jack (Peter Bergman) takes the meeting Ashland (Richard Burgi) requested with Kyle (Michael Mealor). It goes well until Kyle decides to show off what a big boy he was and drop in, telling Jack he can run along.
Summer (Hunter King) frets to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and to Jack about it. Meanwhile, Ashland wants to know why Kyle looks so familiar to him. Oh, and… did he sleep with Ashland’s wife? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
