The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 26 features a day that seemed like Agatha Christie light. Everyone gathered in a room to tell Amanda why she’s the worst, Lola saw the softer side of Theo as Kyle bonded with Summer, and Sharon told Rey she wants a fresh start.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
At Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) birthday party, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) ran into Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and was stunned. Tired of the one-by-one introduction, Amanda suggested they just get everyone who knew Hilary into a room together, and she’ll answer their questions.
Amanda explained that Phillip Chancellor (note the reference, we’re assuming it means Chance, but couldn’t it be his dad?) can’t come to Genoa City, but he’ll send evidence that Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) will was forged and Devon (Bryton James) isn’t the rightful heir.
Mariah told Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) how worried she is about Devon, then cried for herself. Later, Devon apologized for Elena’s birthday being ruined and had her make a wish. She wished for the will situation to be resolved quickly.
Blood Ties
Theo (Tyler Johnson) came to see Lola (Sasha Calle) for help with fixing his and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) friendship. Lola accidentally cut herself, and Theo fainted at the sight of blood. This, for some reason, convinced Lola that Theo is a good guy.
Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle discussed what a good guy Victor (Eric Braeden) “was,” and Summer told Jack (Peter Bergman) that Kyle is suddenly being nice to her.
Ex-Files
Sharon (Sharon Case) ran into Jack and told him she’d gotten Adam (Mark Grossman) out of her system. She told Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) the same thing. She said she wished she’d listened to Rey about Adam sooner, but she cut the cord for good. And then she said she’s embarking on a fresh start. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
