The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 5, 2020, features a day full of bad decisions made from jumping to conclusions as Lola and Kyle decided to call it quits over amazingly stupid reasons, Victoria raged at Billy and Amanda over bad intel, and Summer and Theo sat around waiting for other people to make up their minds.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Hey, remember how Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) went through hell and back to be together? He married Summer (Hunter King) in order to save Lola’s life via a liver donation. They celebrated a blissful first Christmas together and promised to be completely honest. They looked at houses in good school districts.

Well, yeah, that was last month. This month, it seems that Kyle never stopped loving Summer, and, once Lola hears that, she gives up, announcing their marriage is over. So… no taking a couple of days to cool down? No marriage counseling? No working through it like grown-ups?

OK, sure. Fine. The marriage is over. Because Kyle still likes his ex-wife, and Lola dared be friendly with Kyle’s ex-best friend.

Meanwhile, Summer sat passively by, waiting to pick up the pieces. (Because a guy who has walked out on two wives over the course of a year is such a catch!). And Theo (Tyler Johnson) was there to be Lola’s friend. And eunuch. So much maturity all the way around!

Daddy Said So

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) yelled at Billy (Jason Thomson) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) because Victor (Eric Braeden) told her they’ve been sleeping together under Victoria’s nose. Billy and Amanda both deny, but who would ever doubt the word of Victor? He’s always so honest!

Amanda told Nate (Sean Dominic) that she was stalked by her ex, Ripley. And, what do you know, by the end of the day, they were face to face! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
