The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 30 shocks no one with the news that Adam and Faith share a blood type, which means there is now even a bigger reason to find him and bring him home. Plus, Amanda has Imani’s number, and Tara has a surprise for Kyle.
When Nate (Sean Dominic) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that finding a kidney donor for Faith (Reylynn Caster) would be tough due to her rare blood type, viewers knew exactly where this was going. And we were right!
Where, oh, where is Adam (Mark Grossman)? Sharon (Sharon Chase) remembers something he told her over the phone, which brings Nick to Victor (Eric Braeden). It takes both of them, in addition to a professional private eye, to figure out that Adam might be in Kansas, hiding out on AJ’s ranch. Sharp group. Nick is off to find his brother! If he’s not at AJ’s, Nick will just… wander around town? He vows to get his man!
Amanda (Karla Mosley) starts off wondering whether Imani is jealous that she’ll lose Naya’s love to Amanda. Then she realizes that what Imani is really afraid of is losing Sutton’s respect – and money – to her newfound half-sister. Amanda has no time to worry about that. Sorry, not sorry.
With Summer (Hunter King) in the shower, Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) drops by Kyle’s (Michael Mealor). She and Ashland (Richard Burgi) are headed back to New York, and she has a present for Kyle. It’s a picture of Harrison. OK, here’s your son who you’ll never see again. Bye!
