The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, December 17, 2019, features Adam and Chelsea coming up with some very different solutions to their mutual problem, while Abby and Chance shared their first date.
Having agreed to be friends with Nate (Sean Dominic), Abby (Melissa Ordway) was ready to hit the dating scene again. She and Chance (Danny Boaz) went out, had some dinner, some drinks, some dancing, and shared a kiss. This is all too normal. What happens next?
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that Connor’s (Judah Mackey) school wanted to expel him. Nikki was furious and offered to make a rich person phone call to nip that issue in the bud.
Chelsea turned to Amanda (Mishael Morgan) for legal advice. Amanda told her she signed a contract that gave the school the right to get rid of Connor for behavioral issues. Maybe Chelsea should take advantage of school choice and find a better fit for her troubled boy.
Adam (Mark Grossman) watched Nick (Joshua Morrow) trading barbs with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and had a brilliant idea! Phyllis should seduce Nick, and that way she can have what she wants, and he can have what he wants.
Phyllis screamed bloody murder at him. Adam wondered if it’s because she’s afraid of failure. Phyllis yelled some more.
Later, Chelsea and Nick came face to face, and he admitted he can’t do this for much longer. Chelsea declined his request to spend time together, got Connor and headed home, where she and Adam had the same conversation they have every day about joining forces for Connor’s sake.
Phyllis considered telling Nick what Adam asked of her but decided to take the high road… for the time being.
Oh, and Sharon (Sharon Case) told Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) she was wearing festive, skimpy underwear. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
