The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 28, 2019, features a bitter rivalry, a shocking surprise, and a career move everyone saw coming.
A run-in between Adam (Mark Grossman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) had blood boiling. Adam’s return to the scene pushed Billy over the edge once again. He can’t stand the sight of this guy and definitely does not want him sticking around.
However, Adam’s here to stay and made it clear they’ll have to live and let live. It’s time to end the war. Delia’s death was an accident and Adam’s suffered the consequences over and over and over again.
Unfortunately, it looks like Adam’s suffering isn’t close to over. Billy may agree to a peace treaty but something dark is brewing. It seems Evil-Billy may not be gone after all.
An old friend of Dina’s (Marla Adams) stopped by the mansion and she had some shocking news for the siblings. As it turns out, Dina didn’t just have three kids, she had four! Oh yes, there is an older brother out there who may not have any idea they even exist.
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) dug into all their mother’s old boxes and found the proof tucked into a copy of Hamlet. Right there in black and white was an adoption decree. They have another sibling named Eric Vanderway!
If the name sounds familiar, it’s because it is. Vanderway just so happens to be Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) last name. Does he know? Has he known this whole time? Rumor has it we’ll soon find out.
In the meantime, Theo continued to pine after Lola (Sasha Calle), butt heads with Summer (Hunter King), and push himself back into Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) life.
A pep-talk from Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and some encouragement from Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was all Nick (Joshua Morrow) needed to make a big move. He decided to walk in his mother’s shoes and run for office. He may not be a politician but he is a nice guy and that’s what matters, right? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
