 Comments

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, August 31, 2020, ends a turbulent month with Adam recalling everything that happened that fateful night, while Rey cautions Sharon about getting too overly involved, and Victor tries to convince Victoria that he’s the best daddy ever.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) flashes back to killing AJ – and how his mother and Victor (Eric Braeden) reacted. Hope and Victor resolved to protect Adam from knowing he killed a man in cold blood – and, according to George the farmhand, was absolutely chill about it.

Adam is convinced he’s a monster. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) assures him he’s not. She doesn’t want him believing he isn’t fit to be around his family and running off again. Chelsea tries to convince him it was an accident, while Adam insists that it was hate – and he’s a killer. (Hey, remember Delia?)

Case Open

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) continues to worry about Sharon (Sharon Case) over-exerting herself working with Adam. He suggests that Adam might get closure if the case were investigated and closed. Sharon is horrified that he would consider Adam a case and insists that she can take care of him. Rey goes back to being supportive.

Everybody’s Favorite

Victor invites Victoria (Amelia Heinle) over to discuss all the common ground they share. Namely that they should all protect Adam. Victoria isn’t amused and doesn’t understand why Victor is putting his younger son ahead of all others. Victor mumbles something about Adam being his flesh and blood. Wasn’t he also his flesh and blood when Victor was scheming to destroy him?

Brotherly Chat

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) catch each other up on their lives. Jack announces that he is going to find love again. He tells Billy that he should find love again, too. There. It’s decided. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
