The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 7, 2020, celebrates Labor Day with the people of Genoa City hard at work. Adam asks Sharon to bend the rules of her job, Chance worries about the job Alyssa wants to do, Nikki tells Victoria to take a break from her desk, and Theo is distracted by his.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) runs off to hide in a motel, but he calls Sharon (Sharon Case) to come over and hold his hand. Sharon, who is on pins and needles waiting for the results of her surgery to come in, distracts herself by lying to Noah (Robert Adamson) and running off to tell her ex-husband how wonderful he is.
Meanwhile, the woman who believes it’s her job to tell Adam how wonderful he is, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is telling Chance (Danny Boaz) his sole goal in life should be to take care of Adam.
The above certainly backs up Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) lament that Adam is Victor’s (Eric Braeden) first priority and he will happily sacrifice all of his other children to make Adam happy. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t exactly disagree, but she urges Victoria to take a spa day and relax. That will fix it?
Busy Bees
The first thing viewers knew about Lola (Sasha Calle) was that she was an ambitious, determined young woman, who often put work ahead of her personal life. When she became head chef at Society, her work even sometimes came between Lola and Kyle (Michael Mealor).
Now Kyle is out of the picture, and Theo (Tyler Johnson) is in. Summer (Hunter King) tells Noah she thinks Lola deserves better than Theo since he’s not very reliable.
As she says this, Lola is waiting for Theo to come meet her, but he’s been pulled into a meeting with Billy (Jason Thompson). Doesn’t this show how reliable he is? And shouldn’t workaholic Lola understand? Doesn’t look that way…The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
