The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 16, 2020, features Adam and Chelsea stumble on a mystery, Mariah pleading for a second chance with Tessa, and Rey taking over raising Faith because… reasons.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) ran into a childhood friend, AJ, in Kansas. She talked about her dad dying years earlier. Adam told Chelsea that AJ’s dad was a loan shark, and mentioned that AJ was killed at the same time Victor was visiting Adam – even though Adam didn’t know he was his dad at the time. Chelsea instantly leaped to the conclusion that Victor must have had something to do with it!
Tessa: Double Standard
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) begged Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to give her another chance, even telling her about Sharon’s (Sharon Case) cancer and Devon (Bryton James) taking away the job he gave her for no reason. But Tessa couldn’t forgive Mariah’s betrayal.
Hey, remember when Tessa stole Mariah’s private journal and used the personal feelings therein to write a hit song, then denied she’d stolen it? Mariah forgave Tessa for that. But Tessa can’t possibly do the same. She’s a principled person, you know!
Father Figure
Nick (Joshua Morrow) asked Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for help dealing with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) because, after raising five kids, Nick couldn’t possibly handle an issue as well as single guy Rey can. (OK, he’s a cop, but Faith is hardly a delinquent.)
Faith has been cutting school and talking back, so Rey took her to Society and had Lola (Sasha Calle) put her to work in the kitchen. So not only was Rey honing in on Nick and Sharon’s territory, but he was then passing the buck to his little sister.
Later, Rey was nice enough to fill in Sharon, who spent the afternoon agreeing with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that men suck. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
