The Young and the Restless Recap: Adam Gets Between Nick and Sharon

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 2, 2021, continues talking about Adam even when they don’t realize they’re talking about Adam, as Nick waxes poetic about the mystery man who rescued Faith, and Nikki continues the apology tour. Plus, Moses settles into Genoa City, while Elena laments feeling unsettled.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is awake and receiving visitors at the hospital. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) urges Victor (Eric Braeden) to stop by. When he doesn’t, Faith wonders if it’s because he’s mad at her, since it couldn’t be that he’s busy, Faith being the center of the universe and all.

Nikki assures that Victor isn’t mad, and then begs Faith’s forgiveness for Faith stealing alcohol from Nikki. Sharon (Sharon Case) is actually on Nikki’s side – this is Faith’s fault, not Nikki’s. Oh, and Sharon’s.

Sharon is keeping another secret – she’s been getting texts from Adam (Mark Grossman). She lies about it to Nick (Joshua Morrow), who then goes on and on about how the man who rescued Faith is a saint and sure, he doesn’t want publicity, and Nick totes respect that, but he still wants to find him, so that Faith can see there are still good people in the world. Sharon just nods. And cringes. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) sends Nick hospital video footage where they spot Adam as the one who saved Faith. Roh-roh…

The New Boy

Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) battle to offer Moses the most internship opportunities. When will the boy find time to go to school? (He’ll be a senior at Walnut Grove, which answers yesterday’s question of how old he’s supposed to be.)

Meanwhile, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) laments to Lola (Sasha Calle) about feeling like she’s stuck in her life. Lola says she felt that way once too… but then she got over Kyle (Michael Mealor) and realized how lucky she is!

Nate stops by to tell Elena that he can’t trust her personally anymore, but professionally they’re aces! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
