The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 29, 2019, features a starling reveal, a huge opportunity, and another Newman family showdown.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) wanted to do away with everyone in his life, except Connor (and maybe Chelsea), of course. So, when Red (Michelle Stafford) showed up at his door he made it well worth her while to go away. He cut her a check for $10 million and made it clear the cash was contingent on her never knocking on his door again.
Phyllis was floored but what could she do? Well, she could rip up the check and say he is not done with her, which is what she did.
You Go Away Too
Red was not the only one Adam turned away. Victor (Eric Braeden) tried to pay his son a visit to bury the hatchet but Adam was not having it. Yes, they can live in peace (well, as long as his siblings can too) but being a family is out of the question. Adam is a Newman in name only. He never fit in and never will and it’s time to face facts.
Poor Victor slunk to his office and took solace in his one good child. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was and will always be the apple of his eye, at least until he begins favoring one of his sons again.

A Bad Connection
Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) day started full of hearts and stars with Lola (Sasha Calle) at home. However, a visit to his dad left him reeling. He heard all about Dina’s (Marla Adams) baby news and it rocked his world, especially when he realizes Dina’s child has Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) last name!
Kyle was not taking any chances and tracked Theo down at Society. He pretended to want to make amends to get Theo to sit down and open up about his family. That’s where things got sad, weird, and wild all at the same time.
Theo did open up and what he said turned Kyle’s world upside down. Theo’s dad’s name is Eric, but he died a long time ago (or so Theo says). The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
