The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 15, 2020, spins the record again on Victor and Adam’s old sob stories, Nick tries to mediate between Phyllis and Victoria, while Summer continues her spying – this time electronically.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) believes he is making the ultimate sacrifice by begging Adam’s (Mark Grossman) forgiveness. Adam refuses to accept it and reminds Victor that Daddy abandoned him, and lied to him, and used him to play against Nick (Joshua Morrow), and wanted to control him.
Victor responded by reminding Adam that he grew up in an orphanage. Which is why Adam should never threaten his father. This makes sense to Adam. He then makes a face that’s supposed to be sad (we think) and stomps out.
Two Ladies
Nick chastises Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for acting like Victor when she worked with Billy (Jason Thompson) to bring down Adam, and in buying up Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) bank loan, then tells Phyllis that he arranged for her to host Devon’s (Bryton James) awards dinner.
Victoria offers to buy Phyllis out. That’ll solve her money problems. Phyllis thinks she’s under Nick’s protection. Victoria reminds her that Nick always goes back to family first. (The evidence is definitely on her side.) Phyllis shouldn’t get cocky.
Watching You
Theo (Tyler Johnson) blabs about Kyle’s dumping on social media. Summer (Hunter King) pays off a Society waiter to spy on Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle). The guy videotapes and streams Kyle and Lola having a pleasant conversation where Kyle shares that his fiancee has been AWOL for about 24 hours and Kyle has already reactivated all of his dating apps.
Summer tells Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) it’s not Lola that kept her from marrying Kyle, but her own doubts. Faith decides that love sucks. Summer assures her it doesn’t. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
