The Young and the Restless Poll: Which Pair Should Reunite?

Breakups are rarely permanent on The Young and the Restless. As Exhibit A, we give you Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). We lost count of the number of times they’ve split up and made up… rinse, repeat. We only know it’s been more times than Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thomas)… but give them time.

Why test run a new couple when you could go back to the tried and true. So, in honor of that, we asked over 11,000 fans which one time favorites should reunite in 2019 — and beyond:

The Young and the Restless Poll Results: First Love, Last Love

If Victor and Nikki, and Victoria and Billy can keep doing it, then the more Newmans the merrier! How about Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) giving it yet ANOTHER chance, 65% of you suggest.

Hey, remember the last time they made it to the altar, and Sharon revealed she knew Nick had slept with Phyllis (then-Gina Tognoni)? Remember how much Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) cried? Remember how smug Nikki and Victor looked? That went well. Let’s do it again!

Sure, they always, always, always end up hurting each other — and their kids. And anyone else who happens to get sucked into their orbit. But they first fell in love in high school. And have remained about as equally mature ever since. So what can you do? Love is love.

Settling Down

Jack (Peter Bergman) hasn’t had a decent love interest in ages. And Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has made so many enemies, her own daughter will barely speak to her. So why not give this The Young and the Restless marriage another chance.

They only broke up last time because of Phyllis’ affair with Billy. And that only happened because she was still traumatized by Victor slipping an impostor Jack into her bed. But if Genoa City can forgive Victor, surely Jack can forgive Phyllis, 35% offer. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
