Remember how, for a hot minute on The Young and the Restless, Victor was pronounced dead and everybody cried and said what a great guy he was and how none of those horrible things he’s done in the past matter now?
The Young and the Restless Poll Results
Well, yeah, we now know it was all a scam Victor (Eric Braeden), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Abby (Melissa Ordway), and Nate (Sean Dominic) pulled to get Adam (Mark Grossman) to ‘fess up about altering Victor’s medication.
Now, Summer (Hunter King) is pissed because she was left out of the loop. And Nate is pissed because he broke his professional ethics in what he thought was an attempt to save his patient’s life — but Victor just let Adam go. Paul (Doug Davidson), who was also in on it, is mad about that, too. He was supposed to be the one to decide on Adam’s punishment, not Victor. Eh, Victor shrugs, he knows. But does he really? What almost 11,000 viewers had to say:
Pay Up
Like Paul and Nate, 75% of The Young and the Restless fans feel duped. This was supposed to be about Adam paying for his crimes, not getting a trip to Vegas. He hasn’t just hurt Victor since returning to Genoa City.
What about Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Where is there justice?
Though Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me
Leave it to Victor, 25% of the audience counters. He knows best. If Victor says Adam deserves to go free, then Adam deserves to go free. What else is there to discuss?
Adam admitted his guilt to Victor, and Victor gave his papal dispensation. This is how true justice works, people. Only the wronged can decide how those who have offended them should be treated. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
