What would all soaps, including The Young and the Restless, be without its couples? It would be wrestling. All noise and rivalries, no love. Luckily, that’s not the case in Genoa City. And almost 3,000 fans voted on their fave:

The Young and the Restless: Kola Bear

They actually made it to the altar in 2019, and neither one has cheated on the other… yet. That’s why 43% of the audience picked Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) as their lovers of the year.

Sure, Kyle is spending an awful lot of time lately telling Summer (Hunter King) how great she is and Lola is singing Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) praises. But fans have hope these are the young lovers who might actually make it another year!

Victor and Nikki: Classic Crystal

They may not have had much airtime in 2019, but 22% of you still voted Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tops. Nothing says meant to be like helping your husband fake his death and traumatizing your grandchildren!

Sharin’ the Reys

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) brought some sunshine into Sharon’s (Sharon Case) life in 2019, and 14% of The Young and the Restless fans believe these crazy kids are actually going to make it. Especially now that Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo (Jason Canela) have paired up and taken off.

And now that Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) blunder forced Sharon and Rey to admit they want to spend Christmas together.

New and Improved

Devon (Bryton James) took a break from waxing poetic about the wonders of Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to jump into bed with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). She bitched about his paying off her student loans, and now she thinks he’s too obsessed with Amanda (also Mishael Morgan). But 12% are still rooting for them to make it.

Very Villy

He turned evil and gum-chewing, she whined her way into the top spot at Newman Enterprises, but 9% still want to see Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) live happily ever after. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
