On The Young and the Restless, Nick has just cut Chelsea loose. And we know what that means! Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is available!
All right, ladies of Genoa City, line up… and let almost 5,000 fans tell you who should be the latest love of Nick’s life:
The Young and the Restless: Share and Sharon Alive
It doesn’t matter how many times they’ve gotten together, broken up, and gotten back together, 53% of the audience is still pining for high school sweethearts Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case) to make it work.
They share two kids (three if you count the late Cassie… three and a half if you count the year Sharon raised Christian). They share a past and chemistry that won’t go away no matter what. Why don’t they accept the inevitable already? Before it’s too late…
Having Your Phyll
A smaller 31% are rooting for another of Nick’s exes, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). They only share one child… and a possibly even hotter chemistry. Plus, they love to play video games. No, not a euphemism. We mean the ones with joy-sticks. No, not a euphemism, either. Sharon touches Nick’s heart. But Phyllis knows how to make him laugh.
Amore Amanda
What about Amanda (Mishael Morgan), 9% of The Young and the Restless fans suggest out of the blue. She has no previous baggage in Genoa City… that we know of. She’s smart, she’s beautiful… and she can do a heck of a lot better than Billy (Jason Thompson).
She also isn’t exactly married to the concept of walking the straight and narrow. Which comes in very handy when dealing with the Newman family. Victor (Eric Braeden) might even see her as a kindred spirit!
Last Choice
Finally, 7% voted for Elena (Brytni Sarpy). For real, 7%? For one thing, she’s way younger — a different generation in soap terms. Second… she has no personality. Now, we realize that’s not the first thing Nick looks for in a woman. But… something would be nice. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
