While The Young and the Restless hits pause until the COVID-19 pandemic is over, the powers that be might want to take a moment to take a look at the canvas and see what’s missing.

The Young and the Restless Polling

A vixen from the past, perhaps? Over 2,000 long-time fans told us who they’d like to see return – with a splash!

Singing Glori-aaaaaah!

Where’s Gloria (Judith Chapman), 55% of the audience is wondering. One minute she was there – all friends with benefits with Jack (Peter Bergman) – and the next she was gone. She hasn’t even shown up to celebrate Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) new baby. And you all miss her!

A Is For Avery

Seeing Avery on the classic YR episode where she supported Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) through her miscarriage made 33% of you realize you’d like to see more of the long-legged legal eagle. Maybe Nick (Joshua Morrow) would like to see more of her, too…

Dearly Departed Diane

A much smaller 5% went for Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) mother, Diane. Sure, her final portrayer, Maura West, is busy on General Hospital. But the original actress, Alex Donnelly, might be available. (We don’t want to speak for her.) And she’s the one with the history – and flashbacks, with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden)!

Cassandra Complex

Then there’s the 4% of The Young and the Restless fans who were intrigued by what you saw of Cassandra (Nina Averson) with Paul (Doug Davidson)… and Victor. Sure, she died after being hit by a truck but why should she let a little thing like that stop her? Soap characters have come back from worse!

Full Of Grace

Finally, only 3% are interested in a return appearance from Grace, Sharon’s (Sharon Case) best friend who tracked down Cassie (Camryn Grimes) for her. And also slept with her husband. She was one of those friends who just keeps on giving and giving and giving. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
