The Young and the Restless has plenty of veteran characters and actors whom they feature regularly. There are Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case), Jack (Peter Bergman)… even Traci (Beth Maitland) and Jill (Jess Walton) have been allowed to show their faces on camera recently.
So that’s a lot, but it’s not everybody. Which back burner vets do you need to see on the front burner (the sooner the better)? What over 4,000 voters suggested:
He’s the police chief, 40% of you remind. Paul (Doug Davidson) should be the one cross-examining bad guys and jumping down from ceilings to save the day, not Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), who has a tendency to do his own investigations whenever he feels like it, and certainly not Chance (Donny Boaz), who literally just appeared out of nowhere.
And he’s the new District Attorney, 31% more of The Young and the Restless fans chime in. He needs to be doing more than just pulling strings to get Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) off Michael’s hook, and playing social secretary for Nick and Genoa City’s prisoner of the week. He’s a viable, romantic leading man. Let’s see him acting like one!
Like, say, with Lauren (Tracey Bregman), his wife, 15% are just putting that out there. She’s sitting around and twiddling her thumbs, also. Fretting over Fen (Zack Tinker) does not a storyline make. Let’s see more of both Baldwin… together!
Only 10% of fans think YR needs more Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), which suggests 90% believe she’s been on quite enough, especially with the way she’s muscling herself into everyone else’s storyline through her computer snooping, and flirting with any man well, just because she can. You’re kind of full up on Phyllis. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
