Let’s face it, Billy is completely lost on The Young and the Restless. He’s walked out on Victoria, he’s walked out on Jabot, he and Amanda never went anywhere, and his current job was created for him by his mommy.
Dude is in freefall. What would fans of the hit CBS show like to see happen with him next? We counted over 11,000 votes:
The majority of the votes, 46%, want Billy (Jason Thompson) to get over himself and reunite with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). So she wouldn’t support every stupid decision he makes.
Does Billy want a Stepford Wife or a woman who cares enough about their relationship and their family to fight for it? Victoria acted like a grown-up. Billy should learn to do the same.
Victoria has had enough of him, 29% of you counter. Billy needs a hot, new romance. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is certainly a possibility. They never got a chance to really explore their potential together.
But if she’s smartly moved on, let’s try something different. Lily (Christel Khalil) is the obvious choice, but predictable. Uhm… throwing a dart at the wall, blindfolded… Abby (Melissa Ordway)?
Leave the women alone for a while, 22% of the audience suggests. Focus on work. You threw a little hissy fit when Jack (Peter Bergman) made you co-CEO with Kyle (Michael Mealor), took your ball and went home. So if you really think you’re God’s gift to the business world, why not prove it by starting a company of your own – not Jill’s (Jess Walton) mercy position – and actually succeeding at something for a change.
Only 3% are interested in seeing dark, gum-chewin’ Billy return to be dark and chew gum. It was kind of silly the first time and he won an Emmy for the curative nap he took. Let’s not relive it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
